Arrive in Aswan in the morning and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a half-day tour visiting Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Aswan High Dam. Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, is a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture. It was relocated to Agilkia Island to escape rising Nile waters. Depart early the next morning for Abu Simbel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring two magnificent rock-cut temples dedicated to Ramses II. Marvel at the colossal statues of the pharaoh and, if timed correctly, experience the awe-inspiring sun temple phenomenon. Return to Aswan in the afternoon. Arrive in Luxor in the evening and check into your hotel.
